    Andrew,

    I found the F100 fuse and put my multimeter on it, the reading zeroed out like it does when you touch the probes directly together. Does that mean that the fuse is good?

  • Diagnosing ELEFW-605 TV

    I picked up a 60" Element brand TV from someone who was going to throw it away after it would not display a picture or sound anymore. I do not know if it was powered on when the display and sound went out or if they was watching tv/playing a game when it went out. But it went out this week and there was no storms so I do not think it could have been a power surge. The TV was purchased in July of 2014.

    When the TV is plugged up, but not turned on it has a red led a the bottom, when the TV is turned "on" the light turns blue and it looks like the back lighting comes...

    Hey everyone! I joined here because I am wanting to learn about component repair. I enjoy doing electricity work like wiring houses and shops, but I am wanting to learn more about the smaller side also. I look forward to learning how to repair my own components!
