well thanks anyway... in this case i have to replace both boards is not worth anyway....

ok budm but when i gournd the error pin with 100 ohms resistance to gnd, i take off the 10kohm resistor between +5v and gnd ? or i leave that one too ?Leave a comment:

and the backlights come on?
if they come on what does tham mean ? and if they didnt?
also when i short this pin with ground with a 100ohm resistor, do i leave the 5v shorted to pwr on with a 10k resistor? or i just have to short the error pin with ground with a 100 ohm resistor ?

fuse ok, resitance on both 0 ohms, yes i disconnect the bulbs and still the same....
the problem is that pin is 3.3volts... so i cant short it to ground correct?

ics good, fuse,
transformers primary 0 ohms and secondary 0 ohms, i dessolder and they are not burnt underneath......Leave a comment:

exactly that what i did and the backlights didnt turn on.... thats why i think psu have a problem and also mainboard....
well i think is not worth it repair this this way...

on ir board on front i get several wires that come from the main, and the i have a plug that has 4 wires that goes to the buttons
the labels on ir board that come from the mainboard are:
led r
led b
ir
gnd
5v-st
gnd
key2
key1
i have 5volts on 5st 5v on ir
3.3v on key 1 and 2
when i press key1 3.3v drops and then comeback again.. nothing happens on tv also if i press buttons of input volume etc it drops and comeback again...

yes i measure on the wire coming from mainboard, and i disconnect on psu
here is the image where the cable enter so i assume is those regulators you talking no ?

i didint short it
on service manul it says to replace on chip really small its impossible to get this ic...
i think its better to replace all main then...

its what i told you...
it gives no voltage 0.001 volts.. the set is all connected and i disconnect the pwr on wirecomign from the mainboard
if i press buttons nothing happens voltage still the same....
i dont have nothing on front no standby led nothing.. is completly dead...Leave a comment:

i connect the plug and disconnect the wire pwr on on plug on psu, i measure voltage on wire it gives 0.001 or 0.002 volts...
if i press on off button it still gives the same....Leave a comment:
