Thx nicholas111! That's exactly wat it was. When I realized it was doing exactly 30 minutes I thought it would be an easy fix. This WS first time I used service menu.

As long as TV stays on factory settings it does not blink and all is good. If I change pictures settings at all , increase brightness, it will blink for a second to black screen then come back on with factory settings just like pressing reset button. It does this exactly 30 minutes from time of changing settings every time. If I have menu screen pulled up 30 minutes from time it won't but will 30 minutes from then. Its like this new main board is programmed to do this. I mean its exactly 30 minutes! If left alone all is good but during...Leave a comment:

About every hour or so screen goes blank for just sec and that's when it loses picture settings. Sucks cause its a little dark on factory settings so like to increase brightness . I'm going to see if it does it leaving settings at factory settingsLeave a comment:

Recently replaced main board which fixed the problem of not turning on. Here is the history: DLP chip was replaced by previous owner in 2012 to fix white dot issue. I replaced the capacitors on LED PSB in 2013. Replaced red phlat in 2014. Replaced main PSB in 2015. Replaced power cord with noise filter from newer TV model which is a little different and main board a few weeks ago. TV has been turning on better than it ever has but a couple times had to unplug it to get it to come on when it did not go back to standby mode after going thru start up process. I can live with this as it seems to have... -

Main Board 01833A finally showed up on eBay along with 3-4 more last week and I got one and my HLT6187SX/ is working better than ever has! It should with new main PSB and LED PSB , red phlat, and new power cord. This TV is not as bright as the new led TVs but its hard to beat the reds, blues, and green colors this TV has! Finally after a few months not just one main board showed up on eBay but 3-4 of them. I ordered one and just put it in and my HLT6187SX is working perfectly again. Comes on first try every time. So not only do the caps and PSBs cause them not to turn on but main board will too. Makes me want to gamble on buying a new tcon board for 70" Vizio! LolLeave a comment:

Part was too small for me to do so had my coisin do it for me. Only difference is with right tab unplugged when powering up that half of screen comes on for brief sec then back to just backlights. his solder job looks great but after inspecting the old mosfet it looks like a piece of the board came off with it on both two prongs side of mosfet with single side clean. powered set up several times trying different things and this is only difference. no menu or actual image and what bothers me most is faint vertical lines just before going back...Last edited by MEM1971; 01-09-2016, 05:39 PM.Leave a comment:

Mosfets have been in for days now from Digi-key. I finally opened the box and man was I surprised. Maybe should have looked when I got them. I finally have a couple days off to work on TV. They are so small idk if I can do this. Will get tcon out of tv tonight. Hoping I got right ones....Leave a comment:

As u can see I do not have the two smaller connections on side where DVI cable goes that your board has. Don't have the brown and white wire with plug either.
