started a topic HP omen 15-ax200ni bios

    HP omen 15-ax200ni bios

    Hello guys and gals,

I am in need of a bios file for this unit. it turns on with no display or USB power then restarts after a minute or so. I have tried the bios file from HP but when I write it to a new I.C the caps light blinks 5 long and 3 short. I have tested the memory and it works fine so I am a bit stuck at the moment.

on a side note, there are 2 8mb bin files from the hp site, I have tried both to no avail.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Does anyone have the original bios files for this machine please?
I eventually got an EZP2013 Programmer that I want to use to reprogram the 2 bios chips.

Sorry for the edit but I was successful with the files that Ala_borbe uploaded. thanks a tone buddy....

I am not sure if I may post this here but here it goes.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite L50-A0424 - PSKK2F - 0C2058F3

    Motherboard - VGS MB Rev:2.1 - H000055980.

A friend of mine did a Bios flash from v.1.0 to v1.9. according to him, everything went well and when the machine restarted, just a black screen. After tremendous amounts of research, I found that I can get the machine to access the USB flash drive to try and recover the now faulty bios by pressing and holding "fn" and...
