• Re: hp elitebook 745 g6 amd bios unlock

TL;DR: It was U365. Take out the mobo and do it to U366 found in almost the same place under/opposite the SSD, not beside the SSD.

The silkscreen showed what appeared to be "U366" in that area, but after I took a decent photo and zoomed in, it was U368 ever-so-slightly misprinted by part of the 8 landing on a via. I briefly thought the IC definitely should be U365 because "U366" (U368) was farther away, and CN365 is right on top of it, as if a socket would go on that SOIC-8-like footprint...

I also tried HPUnlocker and it merely changed the earlier part identically, skipping those many groups of 0xff. Maybe it means this should be enough... I will try to flash again.
00027260 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 |................|

I removed and tried RCUnlocker on the contents of what I think is U366, actually a W25Q128JV sitting snugly between the M.2 and DIMM2 slots, and I'm still locked out of setup.

In case it helps, here's what I did, essentially:
# flashrom --programmer buspirate_spiev=/dev/ttyUSB0 -c "W25Q128.V" -r spidump.bin
    flashrom v1.3.0 on Linux 5.10.160-gentoo (x86_64)
flashrom is free software, get the source code at https://flashrom.org

Using clock_gettime for delay loops (clk_id:...

Thank you for sharing this! I'm afraid it's rather different, being for -pi and not -pL. But it is the first thing I've seen that also uses the uP9501 PMIC, for which I couldn't find a datasheet... so I should still get some clues from it.Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews

It's probably not the same exact board but the parts' ID numbers and layout in your photo look very much like the one I posted a while back. It might be informative.

What's your board's number from the back? for example here's the one I need:Re: Graphics card Schematics and Boardviews

What is the board's part number? I have a dead Asus PH-GTX1050TI-4G with the number CG210PL 1.01, and I mistakenly got a boardview for the CG210PL3 which is very different, though the whole card seems to have the same model number. I can find what should be the correct boardview for sale on a couple of non-English sites, and I managed to sign up and navigate enough using google translate. But that was just to find out that I still can't buy it (yet) because apparently various overseas online payment processors don't deal...
