Re: Replacing LG PSU LGP32-11P with LGP32-09P?
You can´t go below 4,5v with a zener programmable , ic201 , which have a reference voltage of 2,4v .
Change it with an az431 1,24 v reference voltage.

Re: Samsung UE32D5500 boot loop
I buy the chip programmed . The no very cheap TNM5000 is the only programmer able to burn this particular chip , besides that is hard to get the dump , you can´t copy it from a working set . For me don´t worth the hassle do it my self , I´m well past the ego trip age .
There are plenty of post in Brazilians and Argentinians sites about this matter .
Some sellers in the link .

Re: Philips 37PFL5603D. Image fades out slowly
I´m talking of effect you described in the first post . The video is only to show where the tabs are located . You must look at the sides of the panel , could be three or four tabs at each side , rip off all the tabs of the side where the fail begin .Those are NOT the tabs who are located in the upper or bottom side of the panel ....Last edited by arenat; 06-02-2018, 08:10 AM.

Re: Philips 37PFL5603D. Image fades out slowly
The 40PFL7606 I´ve fixed behave exactly as yours . Usually touching the culprit the problem came and go .The T-CON can´t do that .

Probably bad panel , check this link .

You must rip the drivers of the bad side with the set working .
A week ago I´ve fixed one 40PFL7606 with that exact fail.Re: Philips 37PFL5603D. Image fades ...40PFL7606 with

Re: Samsung UN48J5000: Backlight Strip Burn
There´s not Vdrop in the low side of the string . This is not how PWM work , when the mosfet is ON the string get the full current , when is OFF get zero , nada .The current is an average given those times on and off ....

Re: Samsung LN40D550K1FXZA Backlight Problem
Most Samung power supply of that era have an OVP , if go over 415V disable it.
Measure that voltage again ....

Re: Samsung UN48J5000: Backlight Strip Burn
32 led for a 48" at 130V .75A = 97,5W 3W each led . J is code for junk.I saw this before , put a regular led and explode instantly

Re: Can't Melt Solder on Power Board
A small tip don´t have enough power to heat a big surface . Do you have a heat gun ? if so you must heat the whole area before using the iron . Then put some new lead solder to make it easier .
