Hello!
I have a LG 42LX6500, works fine but no sound, in any "audio source" (HDMI, SCART, RCA, jack...).
Main board is EAX62116803, and it may be the problem. Any ideas before replace it? I was thinking about reball/reflow the IC....
Regards and thanks in advance!

Re: LG LED 50LB5610: Display blinks
You mean I could replace the faulty LED only with a resistor?
Roger that....

Re: LG LED 50LB5610: Display blinks
Hello again.
Great video. But I cant find a Led for the strip... I have read your advice, about not short the faulty led. You talk about replace the Led with a 1w SMD type, or sub it with a resistor or diode. Could you tell me a little more about that? I have doubts in type of diode, or what resistance value use.
Thanks again in advance!...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everone!
I'm Patrick from Spain. I've an industrial engineering degree, specialized in electronic. I've been months looking for work (Spain, u know...). But finally I'm now helping in the family business (electronics service).
I'm getting much help here, I expect to star helping soon.

Re: LG LED 50LB5610: Display blinks
You were right!
I have disassembled and checked the display and strip LEDs: a LED segment is faulty. So now I need replace that segment, because I suppose it's impossible to fix a strip LED...
Thanks very much to both! I would have never found this fault without your help....

Re: LG LED 50LB5610: Display blinks
But I have measured LED+ LED- in the PSU, and it has unstable voltage. And it must be stable... isnt it?...

LG LED 50LB5610: Display blinks
Hi there!
I have here a brand-new LG 50LB5610, with no warranty due to missing invoice... Well...
Fault: Power up, and display start with the flickering. About 2 seconds picture OK >> 2 seconds screen black >>2s picture OK >> 2s screen black...
I measured the voltage out to the backlight, and it's innestable, but PSU is OK (I have two identical PSU, and I have checked it). So I think I need replace the main board.
Do you think main board is faulty? Or could be the backlight?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Faulty transistor in a Samsung TV Main Board
Well well. I've listened you, and I checked again: focus heating in D1201... MEC!!, TV dont turn ON. Maybe yesterday I was tired... but it was a big mistake. A good focus heating, and I've found the fault: IC AOZ1031AI (in the pic, to the left of the word "LARGE"). I've replacement for this, so I win.
Detail faulty:
1) Dont Turn ON. Fixed red LED
2) Heat in IC Z1031AI
3) Power ON right
4) Switch OFF >> ON
5) Again step 1), with fixed red LED...Last edited by PatrickSaw; 01-20-2016, 06:59 AM.

Faulty transistor in a Samsung TV Main Board
Hello!
I have a Samsung TV UE32C5100QW. Main board: BN41-01549C.
Fault: Dont power ON, unless you insist a lot.
I've located a bad transistor, and if I heat it, TV power ON fine.
Transistor is marked like: 72C, and in the board: D1201.
How I could find this transistor model, to buying the same and replace it?

I have this (near to 100% white image, with sound).
Faulty T-CON & AS15-U? Only change AS15 fix it? Any fuse or diode?...Last edited by PatrickSaw; 01-08-2016, 05:38 AM.

Re: AS15-G Pinout schematic?
Hello everybody! I'll use this thread, instead of open a new one.
I need replace an AS15-U. Could I use an AS15-F? Because I have soldered one AS15F in a T-CON with a AS15U originally, and still fail... ¿¿??...
