Re: Sony KD-55X7000G black vertical bar
This panel apparently had some water ingress of unknown quantity and location. The t-con board was bad. So not any chance that any of the component on the PCB is bad?

Sony KD-55X7000G black vertical bar
I have a Sony TV 55X7000G with a black vertical bar on one end of the panel. Am wondering if this can be bad components on one of the board which is connected to the panel?

Re: Three vertical lines without t-con board connected: Sony 55X8000F
Thx. So either a tab bond or driver IC issue i assume. Or can the issue be inside the actual polarisers? Since it seems to be a couple of lines, I'm inclined to believe it's a driver IC issue?Last edited by iampivot; 04-19-2022, 07:56 AM.

Three vertical lines without t-con board connected: Sony 55X8000F
I have a Sony 55x8000f that has three vertical lines (three different colors), with the lines still showing when the cable from t-con board to the panel is disconnected. Am wondering what might be causing this? Unfixable panel problem?

Re: Samsung 4K LCD white vertical banding in center
White image when only the t-con board is connected to the panel. When the mainboard is connected, there's also a bit of 'double image' on the left side of the screen with the moving check signal cable popup. It's clear on the other side of the screen.

Samsung 4K LCD white vertical banding in center
I'm troubleshooting a Samsung LS28D590DS 28" 4K monitor which has white vertical banding in the center of the LCD panel. The image looks like it's distorted slightly as well in the middle. Am wondering if this could be caused by the panel, t-con board or the main board?

Replacing heatsink on TNPA4782AB board to use as a TNPA4782AF board
Hi, I have a working SC board TNPA4782 AB from a panasonic G10, which I'd like to use in a V10, which take the TNPA4782AF board, which, from my understanding, is the same as the AB board, just with smaller heat sink due to the V10 being a thinner case design.
Am wondering if replacing the AB heatsinks with the AF heatsinks would work, just causing the board to require a bit better airflow?

Re: TC-P50V10 SU SD Board Resistance High
Hi, I was also about to replace the SC board in a V10 with a TNPA4782AB, but it appears the difference is the size of the heatsink, which on the AB board are too tall to fit inside the slimmer V10 cabinet. Did you move the heatsink over from the AF board?
I assume the small heatsink is the reason the V10 needs four fans as opposed to two fans on the G10.Last edited by iampivot; 09-06-2018, 11:49 PM.
