• Re: Any good UK suppliers ?

Samsung LE37R88BD

Thanks for both info and offers. Much appreciated. This really is a superb forum!

Today (Wednesday) have just received package of all the caps. I needed from UK eBayer semtech1

ALL in stock, ALL Panasonic and combined postage just £1.25.
Really fast service too. [No connection etc.]

(In just a couple of cases package size was x2 or x3 but not mega-money anyway)

Am now going to replace all caps. on power board as have noticed a couple starting to bulge ominously....

• Any good UK suppliers ?

Was looking for some replacement caps for a 37" Samsung LCD TV.

Wasted 25 mins searching and selecting on mouser.com website only to find they wanted to charge £12 delivery on £5.80-worth of caps.

Then wasted another 25 minutes searching and selecting on RS website only to find that about 75% of what I needed was "Out of stock".

Anyone in UK found a well-stocked and non-rip-off supplier ??Was looking for some replacement caps for a 37" Samsung LCD TV.

Wasted 25 mins searching and selecting on mouser.com website

Have tried the above advice from this forum but it doesn't work, it just switches the TV back on.

Model : LE37R88BD

Any other suggestions as to how to access Factory Reset ?

• Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hello all.
Looks like a very useful "reservoir of knowledge".
I must admit I found it when searching for online help with fixing a sick Samsung TV (no surprises there ...).
I'm more used to repairing/rebuilding classic cars and motorcycles (my own) but I'll have a go at almost anything. Even rebuilt much of a derelict C16th cottage !

Just got to get used to those Youtube videos with American cousins saying "sodder" when they are soldering !!
