Well the wife had me move it for Thanksgiving. She didn't like me using the dining room table for a work bench. I'll probably hold off until after the Holidays. I will have my son take better pictures when I get back to this as my outer lens is smashed on my phone and doesn't focus well. Also no back lights.

I will check the T-con. I have a multi-meter and yes I will be careful. As for wrt I haven't a clue. lol I will look for Threads and stickys for more knowledge info on boards and Abbreviations.

I'm new to the site and not very good at electronics. I have this 50" Sceptre Model E55 .I have no picture but have audio . I want to confirm the audio as I was not there when the TV was taken out of service.(My son said there was Audio)I did try a flashlight test and found screen black with no Menu image. I have Red power light that turns blue when turned on .I removed the back cover and can't see anything Burnt or puffy Caps.Well that's all I have for now. Hoping someone can help steer me to a fix.I bought a new TV so I have time to tinker with this.Here's some Pics...
