The tv was cheap enough I don't mind if it's just the mainboard. I don't want to put in much more than $100. I got lucky with the last plasma and it just need a $1.25 plus tax in parts.

Did the new board work for you? I have a similar problem but haven't started digging into it yet.

I bought a used LG 60PK750 that the former owner reported that there was sound but I can't check right now. The owner said it had no picture one day when he tried to start it up.

What it is doing
-red led is on when tv is in stand by
- led turns blue whenturned on
-screen lights up and there's the regular click as it starts
-screen still has a faint glow but no image
-the blue led flashes when buttons are pressed on the remote

I have repaired a LG 60PK250 before that had a bad resistor in the power supply so I own and have used...
