Hi i have a Panasonic Plasma TV TH-42PV8H and it gives 3 red blinks.

I went through the blink code chart where it says 3.3V sub is missing problem with A-board.

so i decided to trouble shoot A- board using the service manual (see attached) and learned that there is an IC9003 which senses +3.3V Sub and when it does not sense it then it gives 3 Red blinks.

Please see attached service manual of TH-42PV8P which is very similar to my model TH-42PV8H.

Can you please tell me the pin numbers...

I don't have a heat torch so I again tried to bake it today hoping it would fixed it but this time it comes up with 3 Red blinks. Also earlier I used to notice slight glow on the plasma screen while turning on and then there was no OSD and followed by 13 Red light blinks, but this time when I turn on the TV the screen did not glow and I got 3 red blinks. Any idea how to fix it??

Well the fix of baking A board was short lived, today again my plasma started giving 13 Red blink. I am thinking of replacing IC8001 now.

By the way all just for your information i successfully fixed my Plasma TH-42PV8H which was giving me 13 Red blink error code.
I baked the A-Board in the Oven for 10 Mins at 230 Celsius which re-flowed the solder at bad joints, however i melted the plastic inside the AV/Component and Composite ports. Since the melted plastic completely covered the holes inside the ports hence i had to carefully drill holes back inside them which worked and the TV was receiving the signals.

I figured out it was because of the loose connection on small white ribbon cable between the C1 (C10) and C2 (C20) boards. The ribbon cable was loose where it connected on the C1 board (C10). So I re seated it and the Vertical lines went away . Initially I tried to re seat the brown/Tan ribbon cable with a metal heat sink and driver IC which connected to the connector CB4 on the C1 board. The other end of this brown/tan ribbon was going inside the Plasma screen and was located on the bottom...
