Just joined the conversation yesterday (24 Oct. 2015) My LG 50PA4500 has same problem (Sound no picture) I just disconnected the top left Y-buffer board, still no picture. VSC 0-6.5 vdc; VY 28-50 vdc. Do I reconnect the top y-Buffer and disconnect the lower Y-buffer?

Hello, my name is Dennis. I'm a retired electrican. I have an Amateur Extra Class license and have built much of my equipment. Have worked mostly with analog, from MV to many KV. My weakness is digital eletronics and can use some help fixing my LG_50PA4500 TV, sound, remote, and tuner OK, but no picture.
