Since posting I have read other posts about the tab bonding and will look into it tomorrow when I get to class. I can posts pictures, what specifically should I take a picture of?

I have vertical white and black solid lines on right half of the screen. So far I have checked the ribbon connections to the t-conn board and switched them, same result with the vertical lines. I then replaced the t-conn board, still have the vertical lines. I checked the ribbon from t-conn to power supply, no changes. Now I don't know what to do? Can anyone help me out?

Hello! My name is Jake Bouton, I recently enrolled in an EEST (Electronics Equipment Service Technician) program at the local technical college in Tacoma, WA.

I'm new to the field and eager to learn, I bought four broken flat screens from offer-up and Craigslist. These TV's are an addition to what I'm going to learn in the program, I have all the tools I need in class but lack the skills.
