First off I need to say that I have very little experience or knowledge when it comes to electronics repairs so I apologize in advance if I ask questions that might seem a little stupid.

I have an LG mu-42pz15 plasma TV that I'm working on. I heard a loud pop and the screen went completely blank. This happened a before back in 2008 and I paid a technician to repair it.
