Vizio E60-c3 blue vertical line (dead center)
My Father called me he has a Vizio E60-c3 that's probably 3-4-5 years old but it has a thin blue line running down the center of the screen (photo) I tried a couple things but I'm sure one of you all have seen this already. Been a while since I've been here hope all is well. Thank you in advance....

Re: Samsung PN58B650s1fxza clicking
Ok after testing further and not finding any voltage drops I decided to just "throw a board at it" and voila Tv is now on the wall after a $30 new Y-main. Thanks for all those who helped...just wanted to report back one last time

Re: Samsung PN58B650s1fxza clicking
I did find these as you described
VSC on Y main -189.6v
VE -I found a Vb test point on X Main and it tested at 99v (see pic)
Vs 201.6v
Va 54.8v
I included pic of the vb test point on the x main it's pretty much only test point I found on the X main and panel sticker with voltages.
Could the X buffer be suspect I did find some lower voltage reading on some regulators I can supply pics with the readings I got on them. Just some seemed strange. Thanks by the way....

Re: Samsung PN58B650s1fxza clicking
So , do I need a source hooked to this to get an active screen or do you think this main board is bad also? It does have the normal 1 second blink and all the voltages are right where they need to be ? any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Samsung PN58B650s1fxza clicking
Installed new main board and TV powers up normal of course without a picture , but all voltages are where they are supposed to be per the panel specs. I am not sure about the sound as I have no source plugged in. What would my next move be? If the picture on these plasmas wasnt so spectacular they wouldnt be worth the weight in donuts. but that is just my opinion.

Yea looks like it, Thanks. I am trying to read numbers off it, can't quite make out the bottom numbers and letters. I am going to try and fix anyway and see what happens, maybe get a working board out of it, Thanks.

Re: Samsung PN58B650s1fxza clicking
Thank you for the info!!!! As I was looking acrossboard for the Cap you spoke of I found this Lil spot and took a picture of it. It is located at the far right , top of main board by the screw hole.
I circled it in red on main board....Last edited by Gootch46; 12-07-2016, 07:07 AM.

It does the norm clicks when you turn it on, cycles through shuts off then clicks back on, I get NO pictures (sound: havent hooked any source to it yet) I have tried the unplugging of the Y main, does same thing. Re: Vizio VW32L HDTV40A
Not "The original " it came with No remote or stand, but I had a vizio here same tv , but it did not work with the tv and I also tried a couple programmable remotes but nada. So might open up to check the ir board , maybe even open up my working tv and swap ir out and see if that does it. Thanks

Re: Dynex DX-LCD42HD-09 goes blank after a few seconds
It's really not as scary as it sounds to tear it down , besides setting a cpl hours aside to do it its really noit that difficult. Once you get the plastic that surrounds it off you just need to separate the metal enclosure and then make sure you get the sheets of plastic in order but really not too bad. Then you will see on the right hand side I believe that the lights have popped loose out of the inverter push them back in and tv will come on. walla then opposite to get back together
