My daughter has an old Samsung LN-T4661F with intermittent black lines (almost clouds) and pixelation running horizontally through the picture. The amount of lines fluctuates greatly but they tend to calm down as the TV heats up. Any ideas?
I apologize in advance of the horrible quality of the pictures and videos - daughter's handiwork. ...
Thank you for the analysis Hamie! I knew I needed the main board anyway to fix my HDMI 1 issue, so this makes sense. I am going to purchase a board today and will have it by Wednesday. i will update after I get the new board installed.
Thanks for the quick response Hamie! I removed the power board and there is nothing under it. I have attached several pictures of the TV boards just in case something will stand out to you....
I have a 2-year old Samsung 60" Plasma TV model PN60F5500 which appears to be dying. The first sign of an issue happened 3 weeks ago - the TV wouldn't not turn on and the standby light would flash five times, then I would see a flash of light from the panel and the TV would power cycle (rinse and repeat). I unplugged the TV for a day and turned it on and it worked normally for another two weeks. Now it turns on and the picture is normal, but after about 30 seconds the pitcture starts flickering, moving horizontally, and flashing colors (I do have audio though).
