  • OneXPlayer mini 5800u

    So got this onexplayer mini in, knew it was gonna be a bit challenging since it's Chinese and essentially a laptop crammed onto a mini pcb, no schematics or support available for them. Anyways originally the issue was that it would no longer charge, no charging light, no power etc. Went to work and swapped out the bq charging ic, and manually recharge the battery cells to get it back to 13v, now charging light comes on, still no power.
    back to basic checked for shorts, continuity to ground from coils, nothing out of the ordinary, checked for voltages at could only the coil for use c gets...

    anyone have the BIOS and EC for the 7F variant? the one from msi doesnt work (latest) and the 6rf doesnty seem to be compatible either

    hmmm strange still no post from it, checked voltages to be sure, all rails get correct power, but if im mistaken, shouldnt the SPI chips for the bios be pulling 1.8v? im getting 1.3v, just wanna be sure, because that could potentially be an issue if so....

    H82BJX2, i managed to pull the bios itself from the update EXE, but havent figured out how to pull the EC image, bios i managed to pull from exe attatched....

    by chance can i get a bios repair as well for a g7 7700 id super appreciate it , was getting no post power cycle, then flashed with a couple of the variants on this thread now i get no post what so ever, even after flashing original backs ups...

    I got this problem too, the fets you said where probably bad on the smaller heatsink, replaced them with new one of exact model same problem, replaced all the diodes and resister compnesnt/gates etc to and from them too, no dice, i plan on ordering a new board, just didnt want to wait. any other guesses?
