Main board, can't recall exactly what on the board caused it but do recall it being a main in the few i've had like that.

I just figured this main boards NLA, no repair kits, didn't know if anyone had found a way around this issue or any specific components on the main board that they have found to be at fault.Leave a comment:

Yes. TV stays on with ps_on jumped and logic test patterns displayed. This isn't my first repair.Leave a comment:

Samsung PN59D6500 - Common fault - Power cycling
Good morning,
Is anyone familiar with this issue? I have a bad main, 100% confirmed. TV cycles on and off, does not respond to remote function at all. I was wondering if there was any way to enter the service mode bypassing the mains operation of boot? I am unable to enter service menu (Mute-1-8-2-Pwr), the set only cycles, displays input banner then turns off, then back on, however the LED does indicate that there is IR activity as it is flashing. Is there a way to initiate the firmware update without being in the tvs menu? Any help is greatly appreciated. -
