  • Re: ViewSonic VX1940w

    I fixed a VX1940W-4 today.

    C202,C203,C212,C213,C310 are all 470mfd 25v.
The 5 caps were a mix from 3 different manufacturers.

C202 and C203 were TEAPO caps and had failed, replaced and back in business.

    Viewsonic Q19WB

My monitor finally died today after it started having problems staying powered up a little over a month ago. No big deal, I used the advance warning to replace it before it died. I do want to repair it though to keep as a backup.

    Inverter ILPI-025 REV:E 2007.01.15 79069140

I have fixed numerous electronic items but never an inverter module.

    I have the unit disassemled.

    C818 1000mf 10v
These seem to be the two most important parts to replace as they are directly connected to the switching transistors D803...
