Thank you for that! I clipped that line and it worked like a charm. The accelerometer still gets power but if it doesn't wake the CPU or light the LED's it will save a considerable amount of battery life....

Ok I have a strange request. I have the Xbox one media remote and overall I like it except for one "feature" it has an Accelerometer chip that wakes it up when it detects movement. Its great in theory but in practice it eats though batteries like a fat kid at a cake factory. My kids have the annoying habit of leaving it on the couch and I have to replace the batteries two or more times a week. The set that came with it started leaking the first week I had the thing.
I took it apart and found the chip in question but what I want to know is, If I cut the power trace on... -
Sharp Aquos lc42d6u power and OPC flash once together, then power light flashes twice
This belongs to a friend of mine that has really helped me out so I want to try to fix this for him.
Anyways into it the power and OFC lights blink once together then power two more times. It cycles though this pattern over and over when you plug it in and press power. There is random clicking from the relays every few cycles of the light blinks. My friend thought it was a bad power board. I see two of them but there is no obvious problems.
When I googled the issue I got several videos on force starting it holding the vol+ and channel down and that did nothing.... -

I can not find a model number on the back panel but inside there is the model s50hw-xb03 on a sticker on the screen.
I got this free because I was told there is a "bad fuse or something" and it should be an "easy fix". That said I have tested the fuses on the board and none are bad. When first plugged in there is a blue light by the power button. The light flashes with any remote signal. I plugged in a DVD player and got nothing. I happened to press the power button and the blue light went off and there was audio from the DVD but only in the right channel. The... -

Ok I pulled that flat white cord and plugged it in and the red standby light came on. I pressed the power the light turned green and I heard the startup sound. The backlight was on but no picture. I unplugged and put that white ribbon cable back in and it booted up.

BL_Err is showing -0.01 on my meter.
Stby3.3V is showing 3.55
Power_On is showing 3.45

Ok I rechecked it to make sure I was telling you guys the correct pins. The top two I am guessing (because the silk screening doesn't line up) are STBY 3.3v and POWER ON read 3.5V each. I plugged the main board back in and then I get 0.5V out of them. If I let it sit 10 min It will read 3.5v again. So I am now leaning towards the main board.Leave a comment:

I measured off the power supply board at the connector that goes to the main board.
Here is the board and I measured on the connector at the bottom left.
P.S. I checked the white use near the input and the two yellow ones near the bottom left connector.Leave a comment:

I am trying to fix this for my brother. He was watching it and then it just went off no lighting strike no nothing it was just like it was switched off and won't come back on. It has no signs of life at all. No power lights, no relays clicking, no screen, nothing happens. I found this thread I found this thread [url]https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=31359[/url] and he replaced his board and has some voltages. I have nothing at standby or BL ON until I unplug the cable going from the power board to the main board and then I get 0.59 and 0.58 respectively.
