Any recommendations for domestic parts sellers besides ebay?

Hey folks,

Picked up a freebee LG 42LH30 from a relative. The TV works just fine for the most part, but once in a while, the left most 25% of the screen will freeze while the remaining 75% continues on as it's supposed to. This goes on for a few minutes or so and then returns to normal. I've been reading other posts about tab bond or t-con issues... doesn't seem to fit the bill. Anyone heard of a problem like this?

Hey folks, got a question.

I was checking the resisitance of the tranformers on the inverter board and found some variances. My question, is it enough to call a transformer "bad"?

The secondaries varied from
1.078 K to 1.093 K

The primaries varied very little.
0.15 to 0.16 ohms

Thoughts?

Hi, my name is Derek. My full time job is driving a Fedex Van slingin packages all day. I live in Norwood Ohio (city inside the city of Cincinnati, weird right?). 6 children and a minivan.
I like to dabble in electronics, build computers, minor electrical stuff... I fixed a whole truckload (felt like) of samsung flat panel monitors with bad caps years ago. All of my friends got hooked up with that project, since the monitors were free to me.
I have questions, and hope to find solutions.
