    This might be a very long shot, but I had the EXACT same result as your screen in this image



    when attempting to power a laptop LCD panel a couple of months back with a new power source (I was trying to salvage it as the laptop had died.)

    In fact... I think I have a picture still..



    This was caused by one of two things. The actualy ribbon cable connecting the input to the LCD panel could have been screwed by my fiddlings and secondly, I had fudge all...

    Hey Momaka, the gold ones are Hitano, that's the 1 x 220uf and 2 x 100uf's and the blue ones are Jamicon, the 470uf's. Oh and yes, I had to Google uf as I had no idea what it meant I've no idea if these are good or bad but they were the most expensive. I do intend on replacing the rest of the Xunda caps, it's just the 3 I got were literally the ONLY 105degree polarised 470uf's in either of the two stores, so I've put an order in for 3 with Pete's. I've had no training/courses, I'm considering going that way though. Thank you very much for...

    My girlfriends monitor ceased working yesterday. it would power on for 2 seconds and proceed to shut off. I was furious, I had gone through a lot of trouble to aquire this monitor, I'm not made of money so I had to do alot of work for a friends relative to get it.
