Re: Centos 6.7 issue

Had identical problem upgrading from Centos 6.6 to 6.7 on my old (creaky like me, but not usually as cranky as me) Dell Inspiron 1525.

After scratching my head a little (didn't really add any insight), I decided to add the following to the kernel line in grub.conf:
[code]rd_NO_PLYMOUTH[/code]

No more problems booting.

Note that upgrading from Centos 6.6 to 6.7 on a more-or-less identical installation on a desktop computer booted with no problems.

Bottom line: IWFMYMMV (It Works For Me; Your Mileage May...
