Re: Vizio vp422 wont power up
Anything? Don't know what to look at anymore basically. Could the control module board be bad? Is there anything to check there?

Re: Vizio vp422 wont power up
Ok so I finally checked all the voltages at the test points on the power supply board. They are all good! I was surprised. So. What could I look at next? This is the voltages I got and what they're supposed to be.
Thanks for your help. I was hoping it was the P/S board... :-(...

Vizio vp422 wont power up
Hey guys, I'm extremely new (first day). so, I had a power surge a couple weeks ago, it took out my wireless router and also my 42" vizio.
It's a VP422 HDTV10A.
It has no amber/white light at all. Completely dead, I can see a small green LED through the back panel however. If I unplug it, and plug it back in, the screen flashes white like it's trying to come on, and the amber light comes on for a half a second, then it is again completely dead. the power button doesn't work, only unplugging and then re-plugging(?). I was hoping this is just the power supply? The only thing...
