I have a Sony KDL-60EX645 that runs for about 30mins then shuts off and starts flashing a code 6. After about 10mins it will turn back on.

I am fortunate enough to have two of these tvs.

1. I have swapped all three boards separately Main board, Power Supply, T-con...

2. I then took all off the broken tv's board put them in my working tv and the working tv works fine! The problem did not move with boards.

3. I then uplugged buttons and wireless adapter(grabbing at straws) no change in failure.

I am leaning toward a bad...

I have 7 Philips 19pfl3403d/27 Lcd's all with the same problem. They work fine until they sit over night. In the morning they will not turn on. Once I unplug them for a hour or so they work fine. Very annoying! I have one good unit and first swapped power supplies. That did not fix it. I then swap video boards that did fix it. Could this be bad caps? I have replaced swallen caps before but none of these "appear" bad, I am thinking of buying the service manual but I have limited electronics experience. BTW if you unplug them at night they work in the morning.
