Hi all,

It seems that some diodes are down, as sound is on but no picture. TV unit is toshiba 40L1333b, bought in 2013 (UK), seems like vestel made. I checked with flashlight and picture is actually there. So I ordered a LED tester, but it will take some time to arrive (couple of weeks from china). Therefore I was thinking maybe someone can also recommend what kind of LED diodes to buy, so I will save some time and order some units upfront just in case I am gonna need them later. I do not want to buy whole led strips, just diodes are enough, as I own smd hot air rework station and...

I did some measurement on power supply on backlight set on both low and high.

low backlight: 24V = 20.7v
12v = 10.5v
high backlight: 24V = jumping between 19.5 - 20.7v
12v = jumping between 9.5 - 10.5v

Hi guys, I just found out that flickering is related to backlight. If backlight is set low then everything is fine. The frequency(speed) of flickering goes up as I increase it.

Hi. My samsung le32a456c2d has the flickering/blinking issue. You can see it on video I uploaded.
Power board is BN44-00214A

I found that similar problem was solved by cutting the jumpers. Can I use same procedure here? What jumper to cut? What seems to be an issue?
