thanks, I have been looking at that wiki, It doesn't have my tv on there unfortunately but I was able to find what looked like the cpu on the front of the mainboard instead of the rear. I had a brief moment of success earlier but I'm back to square one atm. I unplugged T-con? ribbon cable Im not to familar with tv's but shorted the eeprom and powered the tv back into service menu then reconnected the T-con and the displays works
Unfortunately it displayed for around 10 seconds and then turned off so now im back to the green...
. I dont know where the eeprom chip is on this board as its not marked and there quite a few dotted around the circuit. tv turns on and basically has same as above, purple / green banding.
