I think I have identified 2 bad capacitors on my Dell XPS 15 L501x motherboard. I believe they are 10 uF ceramic, from discussions. But I cannot find any other specifics, not even from Dell. I cannot find ones that are small enough, about 1 X 3 mm, on site listing capacitors. Anyone know where I can get these to try out?

Can you explain "diode test mode". I have checked resistances for all the caps in picture and the two above the memory seem to be open whereas all the rest have no resistance. Does that mean these two are bad? Where can I get these caps? They are labeled PC 156 and PC 161 on MB. Thanks...Leave a comment:
