It looks like the dimming pin can be unconnected for maximum output. So one thing solved.
Somewhere I read PS on is 5v, so I think I'm in business.

Is there a way to make this not constant current? I need somewhere between 70 to 90vdc at I'm guessing 150ma. I am aware that the switching noise may cause interference in the radio, it is being driven by 4 3.7v lion 21760? cells with a BMS board. I basically want a dumb power supply for 90vdc which will have a cap for filtering between this and the 90v battery circuit

Imac 21.5 2015, 8G 1tb 4 core 2.8ghz free, it was wiped clean when I received it, installed OS, updated to current, using it now, my Alienware Aurora is getting flakey as far as the MB goes, likely bad caps or bad solder joints on processor or io chip, works fine after a few lockups starting up from cold.Last edited by speter; 07-10-2023, 09:40 AM.Leave a comment:

It's my understanding that the RTC's don't drain on the shelf, until activated during first use.

That looks similar to one of mine,(XPS 720) a quad core 3ghz. nothing was standard on mine, a nonstandard power supply, and motherboard. The computer ran fine, if it started, but 1/2 of the time it would just blink the power light, until unplugged a while, then it would start fine again. because it was proprietary, I didn't bother looking for a board or power supply, as it wasn't worth spending money on....Last edited by speter; 01-16-2021, 07:01 PM.Leave a comment:

It went back to running for only a short time again, the new TCON is on it's way again.
I decided to run the test again, and see if it will start running a long time again.

In n earlier post (23) you said to remove the plates, I have seen pics of later sets that have those, my set is older, and does not have them. Same tv as before, sorry for the confusion,
It made more sense in my head when I wrote it, and l could not edit later.

I was not able to access the boards, I would have to dremel the back apart to get there. I ordered a TCON as a last ditch effort, the one I received was the wrong part. There is an additional white rectangle with a number in it, and I am not sure if it has to matc (4007j) it may be a software version?
I let it run on self test for a while, and it started working with the old board.
In the service menu, the reason for power down says inv fault.

I wasn't sure which universal remote would have all of the functions, so I ordered the one for the TV for about the sane price, If I knew the universal would support every function, I would have gone that way, as this TV could die tomorrow in a worse wayLeave a comment:
