Yamada DVD player no power
Hi guys!
An old DVD player went blank all of a sudden. The big 33uF/400V cap is swollen and the fuse is burnt. Would it help to replace those two or is there some other problems to be expected? Electronics recycle is also an option....

Ok! So here's my working TV!
I measured the voltages on the power supply board and they were way off. The 5.1V lines showed something like -0.6V and the other lines were showing like one third of the correct voltage.
So I thought I might try to change the two bulging 1000uF/16V caps first and see what happens. What happened was that the voltages came back to normal. So that's all I did this time. The repair was easy but I learned crazy lot in the process.

Hello everyone! My first post. I hope it's not too dumb or generic.
I got this TV for free, it's totally blank, no signs of life. I got it for learning purposes. I hope to resurrect it.
C201 and C202 are swollen. D101 and D103 conduct in both directions. The fuse and the bridge meter just fine.
Is there something else I should check? What diodes should I buy? The writings say nothing to me.
