  • Re: Samsung UD65HU7200F smart tv - vertical lines on display

Thank you all for your input. I will try freakaftr8's idea about attaching one side of the t-con board, then the other and see what happens.

By freeze spray, do you mean the compressed air cans that you can use to clean dust and other debris out of electronic components/keyboards, etc?

I'll also ask my neighbor about a recent cleaning.

Yes, the tab bond board is on the bottom.

Can the panel be replaced? I'm not totally clear on exactly what the parameters of...

  • Samsung UD65HU7200F smart tv - vertical lines on display

    Hello,

I am bought a Samsung UN65HU7200F tv from a neighbor very inexpensively. He stated that it just stopped turning on, but the year and a half prior to that, it was great. I replaced the power board and everything worked. However, there are some vertical lines on the screen on the left side (mostly white, some colored stripes), and faint alternating grey/light stripes on the rest of the screen. (see pictures)

I ordered a replacement T-CON board and installed it. No changes whatsoever.

  • Re: Factory Resets Listing

    Hello all!

I have a Samsung un65hu7200 curved screen smart tv. I would like to get into the service mode to try to hone in on the display issue I'm having. Of all the service mode suggestions I've seen, none of them apply to the remote that goes with this TV. There is no mute button, no number keypad, or any of the buttons mentioned in this thread that are on this remote with the exception of the power button. Any ideas?

    Thanks a bunch,
    Christine

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

Hello from Austin, TX. I'm a musician (go figure) and like to dabble in electronics and computers. I don't have any formal training - just love learning and being able to fix things and build things myself. I joined this board to hopefully get instruction on how to fix my LCD TV. Thanks in advance for all the help. What I've read on the board regarding my TV has been great - hasn't solved my problem, but has been very educational and well stated.
