I found a Jetway (MachSpeed) PM880DMS P4 motherboard in the garage that I had used for years and cast aside about 4 years ago. I hooked it to a spare PSU, loaded win 7, and it fired right up! I noticed a bad Evercon 6.3 v 1500 uf 10 x 20. (See photos). There is a mix of 105 degree and 125 degree Evercon (I know, lousy brand to begin with…) on this board, so maybe 2 or 3 different series. Despite usage and age, there appears to be only the one obviously bad cap, so I will replace it for grins and use this board in the workshop. Another possible fake on eBay? These Rubycon are listed as 6.3v 1500uf MBZ size 8 x 20. But the MBZ spec sheet lists only a 10.0 v 1500uf in the 8 x 20 size. Has anyone seen a 6.3v 1500uf MBZ in this size?...
