I was recently given an ASUS VE284H 24" LED monitor do to the right half of the screen being discolored and distorted. Does anyone have an idea as to what could be wrong? I have already opened it up and can not find any components that look bad visually. I have attached a picture of the problem. At first I thought it may have been the green pixels stuck on so I set it in burn in mode for a couple hours which did not help. I also tried some of the "pixel repair" videos on youtube which did not seem to help, but a couple seconds after i exited chrome the discoloration corrected itself...
