    thank you, I suspect the T con also, but I have not opened it up and touched any cable/components yet, so does anybody know how and why it got worse after doing only a reset and moving through the panel options but leaving it the same setting as before in the service menu ?

    did doing that further stress and cause more damage to the T-Con board and make everything look worse than before ? or why resetting in the service menu make everything look worse ?...

    hi, my Samsung started having solarized images, though general color is still accurate in places that are not solarized, i went into the service menu following this video to adjust the panel option

    there are maybe six options so I scrolled left and right, couple options make screen look darker and pictures look quite different, but none actually corrected the solarized problem, so i went back to the same panel option, then reset the tv

    after that, screen has gotten a lot whiter and pale (attached images),...

    hi I had the same problem as VEAUX on my SAMSUNG LN40B640R3F, uses BN44-00264A power board, the 3.15 AH fuse blew and TV was totally dead, thanks to this thread, determined the two QI820, QI821 FDPF7N50U MOSFET shorted, S-D tests 0.3 ohm, G-D is 40 ohm, took them out, put in new fuse, now on standby big caps tests 167V and when power up 370V; kill-a-watt shows 0 W on standby and 38W power up; tv powers up and down normal with the Samsung tune, digital out on main board has a red glow so power is getting to main board, clicking the remote...
