Hello everyone...question is in regards to replacement capacitors I purchased on eBay. (Yes I know now not to do that) Name of the eBay seller is diy-electronic-store.
Our TV is a Samsung LN46C530F1F, purchased in 2010. Typical symptoms of failing capacitors that progressively get worse until unplugging the set no longer works. The LED light would just blink 5 times and go off. The capacitors never bulged but when I pulled off the 4 main 1000uf caps, both the 10V capacitors were the only one with some capacitance left. The 25Vs were totally dead. I also replaced the 6 smaller ones...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hello everyone...I'm Randy...been browsing these forums on how to fix our 5 year old Samsung TV. I seem to be missing out on some pictures so might as well sign up & be part of the community.
I took some electronic classes when I was a kid, thanks to my dad. That was 40 years ago back in the old country. Not a full blown tech but I kinda know my way around the stuff.
Looking forward to the knowledge & thanks for the add.
Cheers,
