• Re: Vizio E65-C3 Service manual

Okay, here is what I see on CN201:
Pin 15 - No TCON on
Pin 14 - No 12v TCON
Pin 9 - Yes 12v
Pin 8 - Yes 12v
Pin 4 - No 12v Audio
Pin 3 - 5v PS ON (stays at 5v)
Pin 2 - 3.5v AC DET

CN 301
All 24v lines are active

These readings are after set is plugged in, no control of on/off function.
Is this bad PWR supply or Main board?

• Re: Sharp LC-70LE650 - Shaded on one side w/ line down middle

Update...the ribbon cable fixed the vert line and flashing problem!! But Not out of the woods yet.

I had it testing for most of the day, and when I came back to it....it was the "2 blink slow- 2blink fast" error code and shut down. According to the manual, that's a "DET13v_ failure". OK..what I do know there is standby 5volts from PWR supply getting to the micro on the mainboard. What I dont know is what pin(s) on "PD" connector, between the 2 boards, has the Power...

• Re: Sharp LC-70LE650 - Shaded on one side w/ line down middle

Sorry no pics, and the line was vertical.........update! I found left t-con cable to panel had corrosion on the female cable terminal (The jack that the cable plugs into on the panel side). At first, when I initially observed the cables and the jacks in that area, I did not see it because it was hidden. So I ordered a ribbon cable off ebay and cleaned in extreme detail. I will give update later when cable arrives.

• Sharp LC-70LE650 - Shaded on one side w/ line down middle

Hello, I repairing a Sharp LC-70LE650U around 2 years old. And customer said one night while watching, picture developed line down the middle with right side having a noticeably darker shading. After it arrived in the shop, I noticed intermittent flickering of the shaded right side when first turned on. Then eventually picture on right side stays more shaded then left. Obviously, I checked the Tcon cable seatings and cleaned all contacts. Disconnected and reconnected several times, just to see if there is bad connections. But to no avail.
I searched here other threads on the 70 inch Aquos...

• Panasonic TC-L55E50- Any one seen this problem?

Has any one seen this problem(s)? Translucent vertical lines come and go on the screen? I KNOW THE USUAL SUSPECTS, T-CON AND PANEL......but these lines come and go. In addition, of a OSD being effected by the lines, they shift from different parts of the screen and there is a very noticeable 1 second video lag...every 4 seconds. I have tried freeze spraying the outer edge of panel to check for loose connections. I have checked, cleaned and reseated ribbons cables to and from Mainboard to T-con. Last but not least, the other problem is when switching input signal like from HDMI 1 to 2,3,4 the video...
