My board does not look like that one. I did test each mosfet I could find. I found one that was shorted only when I reverse the test leads. None of the other ones did that. I have circle the one that did it. Is this the culprit?

I know this little thing is quite old now, but I have an old friend that wanted to get it working again. It will not charge a battery. Works fine but not on battery. It says charging and the battery light flashes red on and off.

I have replaced the power supply and battery. I even updated the bios just to see if there was anything that could be done. Didn't help.

I found this site and popped open the netbook. I have pulled the motherboard out and tested the battery leads. Lead 7 says 3 volts. I'm wondering if the charging chip or one of the mosfets is shot and not...
