Hello, I found your forum trying to troubleshoot my TV and thought I'd try to do it myself. Have only used a solder iron on toy cars, but hey, why not the TV?

I have the same board, bn44-00222a, with transistors RTE801 and 802 burnt out. Unfortunately, RT801 was slightly bent over and slightly melted the "black box" on RL-YE802. Do I need to worry about the board being discolored if I replace the transistors? And what is RL-YE802 and should i worry about replacing that too? Thanks all!Leave a comment:
