This is great info in thanks everyone. As you can see this is my first post, I have much the same issue as oesheutor, however I have the PS58C7000 it is about 4 1/2 yrs old and has the pink banding issue as well. I have a few questions I hope someone may be able to help with.

Are the voltages for the 7000 the same as that for the 6500?
And to remove the rear panel do I need to remove the TV from the stand?
