I have a Sony Bravia KDL-70R550A doing a very similar thing as you describe... a blank screen (backlit), green status light (blinks with remote clicks). I have used shopjimmy to replace the TCON, Main Board, and Power Board and still having the same issue. Did you ever figure your issue out and could you share what you did as I am fearing I have a very expensive piece of trash?

I read the suggestion to update the firmware, but there is nothing displaying on the screen so there is no way to do...
