so i have found a SMD ceramic capacitor on a gaming console motherboard which i have tried to test with multimeter but im not getting anything at all every other cap i test i can get a reading ,I understand that it is not always possible to get a correct reading when still on the pcb but i thought i should be able to get something.

I have also found a SOT-23 transistor that i can not get any readings from labeled KN all other SOT-23 i can get a reading however i can not find another labeled KN so im not sure if it is just the way that one is meant to be until it has current pass...
