Re: Thermal Cutoff Resistor part
I just wanted to follow up about the thermal resistor part. I ended up installing the one from mouser https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/c354ceaf43d779dc6576d536191f2f78.pdf. I tested the TV extensively in my house for a couple weeks and had no issues. I sent it back to my friend, so we'll see how it does above the fireplace again. He didn't want to move the TV so I installed a little fan to hopefully keep things running cooler.
Anyway, thanks guys for helping me find a compatible part!Re: Thermal Cutoff Resistor part

Re: Thermal Cutoff Resistor part
Thanks much guys for the quick replies. Yeah, I was hoping to find those KOA parts, but I couldn't find a distributor either.
I just ordered the ones listed on mouser.com. I'll give it a shot. This is for a friend's TV who had it mounted above a fireplace. I suspect that is directly leading to the overheating issue that is blowing this thermal cutoff resistor. I checked for shorts and everything seems good otherwise.
I'll update when I get the parts. Thanks again.

Thermal Cutoff Resistor part
Been reading on badcaps.net forums for a long time, this is my first thread though.
I'm wondering if anybody here can help me find a component for a power supply board. It is a thermal cut-off with built in resistor. It reads "RCT051S 6R80JSMT". I've looked all over, but can't find a place online to order it in any reasonable quantity.
I've attached the datasheet....
