  • Re: Need Help!! LG Plasma TV Wont Turn On!! Model 50PA5500

    Hi Again Tom
Capacitor received was from Digikeys - you are right I typed in the wrong number
    Should have read:
    399-5925-ND

    Hi Tom
Looked up that capacitor on Digikeys web site
The lead spacing is still .591 inches
The spacing on the board is .854 inches
Also the one you mentioned appears to be fairly flat whereas the existing one is about 1 inch long and .6 inches wide - sort of oval
Not having a lot of luck
The capacitors are cheap but the shipping is over 8 times the cost- so I don't want to keep ordering more until I am sure it will work
    Any suggestions appreciated
    Thanks

  • Re: Need Help!! LG Plasma TV Wont Turn On!! Model 50PA5500

Just received my capacitor 399-595-ND and it looks nothing like the original
My LG 50" plasma has a power supply board p/n EAY6096871
I am attaching a photo of the capacitor c-802 that I require
The one I received is black in colour
    and is oblong in shape.
Also the leg spacing does not match the holes in the circuit board - spacing on board are farther apart
Can anyone give me the correct part number or can I modify the one I received
    Thanks...

    Same problem as above
I will try replacing the c-802 as mentioned
Looking at it it appears fine, however it is different in appearance from the other " barrel " shaped capacitors
I notice that all the capacitors have a band indicating negative lead both on the board and a stripe on the capacitor
This one does not have this indication - it in fact does not have the appearance of a capacitor
The C-802 on my board is green in color with the following markings: FL 1.5 kHP 473HS K09...
