The EEPROM chip on the Mainboard is what contains the information on the screen size plus other information. A T.RSC8.10B 12305 board for example is used on many TV'S. The number on the back of the board makes the board model specific. The difference being the EEPROM chip. The chip location on a Sceptre board is usually U16. Shopjimmy.com has replacement EEPROM Chips. You definitely need de-soldering and soldering experience to replace these chips. They're very small and the board could be damaged if not done properly
