HP 22-df0023W power interupted during BIOS flash
Black Screen, no response. Has motherboard DAN14CMB6E0 REV:E. I downloaded the BIOS from HP. I tried Win+B with no results. I made a recovery flash drive but no response to it. Came back for same problem. Replaced Battery and worked OK for a few days. Same Problem again. -

Something strange is going on. I was measuring 0V (no battery) at PL4001 and fluctuating voltage at PL4000 and PR4000, 3-6V with no battery. LB4708 had 20V. I'm not sure what is between them. I connected the battery and it started charging. It's almost 12.4V now. I have disconnected and reconnected two batteries and two chargers multiple times without it charging. It seems to be normal for now and I can disconnect and reconnect the charger. I'm going to look closer tomorrow for cold solder joints. Thank you so much and I will keep you posted.Leave a comment:

Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 not charging
We have a ThinkPad E14 Gen 4 that operates from the battery only but will not charge. 20V is present near the USB-C port. I'm new to laptop board troubleshooting. I can't figure out where the charge voltage comes from. Which MOSFETS do I check first? The board is NM-E211. -
Thank you for the files. I have one that will not charge or operate from the charger. It works normally from the battery until it is dead. I have a new battery and second charger with the same results. I'm new to laptop troubleshooting. Which mosfet outputs the charging voltage? There is a broken PTC thermistor on top of the power transformer. Can someone tell me what the value or part number is? I can't find a schematic anywhere. -

It happens with the tuner and PC input. I haven't tried the others. Once it is dark, cycling through inputs will not make it come back but the input does still change. It seems to be related to the amount of brightness or fill on the screen. It will only last a few seconds on a white noise screen but lasted for over an hour watching a local digital channel....Leave a comment:

Toshiba 42HL67 Goes dark after a few minutes
I just acquired this TV due to the problem mentioned. If there is no signal or if it's in PC mode with a 1024 x 768 it stays on indefinitely. When I try different PC resolutions or switch to antenna input, the picture breaks up and goes dark from a few seconds to several minutes. The backlight is still on. I see that this problem was fixed in one case by a new T-con board. Before I jump to that, I would like to know if there is a software update and also check the service mode settings. I accessed service mode but can't seem to find a list of default settings. Does anyone have these?
