Re: Alternative Mosfet
Thanks for the replies, unfortunately i can't find a schematic, i bought the laptop liquid damaged which was what im guessing caused the mosfet to blow, since the mosfets have been removed the shorts on the board have gone.Didn't want put an incompatible mosfet on and blow something else

sony lcd vertical line
i have got an sony 40" lcd with a vertical line, im guessing its not repairable as the line remains even with the tcon disconnected, ive got access to the top ribbons but pressing on them does not affect the line in any way. just wondering what might cause it?...

Samsung LE-40R88BD turning off and on
hi
wondered if anyone can help I have a Samsung LE-40R88BD which turns on and off, ive changed nearly all the capacitors on the power board and replaced the eeprom chip but no change, the screen doesnt fade as normal,
the image almost distorts before going black hope fully the pictures might help, ive fixed a few samsung tvs with bad capacitors which is why i was confused with the eeprom replacment not fixing the problem any ideas would be much appreciated...

LG 47" 47LF66 lines
ive got a LG 47" LCD TV 47LF66 which works perfectly for 2mins then the screen breaks up into vertical lines and goes blank except for a few pixels, also ive noticed the remote works when the screen is fine, when it starts to break up the remote doesnt respond, first thought it was the tcon but changed it and no difference. had a look at the powerboard and found a blown cap (25 680uf) so i replaced it and just to be on the safe side changed all the surrounding caps but still no difference, can anyone help please

failed samsung plasma panel?
Just wondered if anyone can help, ive got a 51" samsung ps51d550c thats faulty
no picture or sound led light flashes, looked inside no blown caps but found a short on one of the chips on the buffer board and im assuming the y sus board has gone as well, the logic board led flashes every 6 seconds which seems to confirm a bad y sus board , if i remove the power cable from the power board to the y sus no difference if i remove the ribbon from logic board the led flashes every second and the screen starts buzzing like its trying to power up. After all that my main question is, when i tried...
