Thanks for reviewing the thread. Yes you are correct about low voltage on pin 4. This is why I physically wired a switch between pin 3 and 4 to bypass the low voltage problem. That worked for a while but now it doesn't.
How can I trace back the problem? I don't have a schematic to follow. Will the problem still be on the power board?
Really appreciate your taking time to help.

On the TVTech site I noted the part # KIA78R12API is a fix for model numbers LC-60LE640U, LC-60C6400U, LC-60LE650U.
Please confirm this part will work for my TV model number LC-70LE732U.

I did lift the heat sink up expecting to find a number but all of the parts are blank. If I knew what type they were I could check to see if there OK. Should I replace all of the drivers/regulators located on the heak sink?Leave a comment:

You helped me solve a problem with the subject title over a year ago. The TV has now gone to the blinking pattern 2 - 5 once again. I would like to replace the Q7120.
Would you be so kind to send me the part number of Q7120 or tell me where I can find the schematic so I can replace it on the board.

Hi Budm, checked the resistance from panel power pin 16 to chassis ground. meter reads 1, open circuit.

This morning I turned the TV on by jumping Q7120 input/output pins and the TV picture was fine once again. Looking forward to finding the root cause of the main board panel switch not working.

The error went away and the TV picture is fine. It's been on for almost an hour. I think you go it narrowed down now, great job!!!!!!
FYI Voltage reading on pin 16 is 10.8 Vdc. On the main board D3303 red diode blinking on /off. Turned TV off then on a couple times and the TV is working fine!!Last edited by rted; 04-18-2015, 04:22 PM.Leave a comment:

OK, I jumped the Q7120 input output pins as you suggested after the TV was turned on and the panel power came on saw the screen turn on for about 3 seconds then went black.
I hope this was what you were asking for.

Hi Budm, sorry if I don't follow your instructions. I also appreciate your patience and understanding.
I noted the 12V is coming from Q7120, Attached is a picture of the Q7120 from my previous post that looks like it has heat stress marks on the board. What do you think?
I also took readings of the Q7120 from the top side see attachment. I took reading from jumper J7058 and it was .13V.
Voltage reading at the PD pin 16 is .13V. Pin 15 is 4.95V all other pins are 0V. see pic PD connector...Leave a comment:

Here is some additional information. When I plugged the power I took readings of the main board starting with pin 24 and pin 23 and got readings of 7.51 VDC on both pins but the voltage dropped to zero soon after. Now I get the same voltages as the power board (.13 and 4.97)Leave a comment:

The board is inverted, I grounded the board to the chassis. My negative probe is also grounded. Just took V readings again. Row 2 - pin 10 as circled is .13 VDC and the pin right above in Row 1 is 4.96VDC all other pins have O V.Leave a comment:
