i have the un55es6500 also. question: if i unplug both t-con ribbon cables to the display,should i have a black screen or should i still see a picture on screen even thoug there are NO signals coming from the t-con board?

i have the same problem.but my question: if i remove both ribbon connectors from the t-con to the display,i still have a ghosty picture on screen. should i have NO picture with these two cables disconnected? does this mean i have a bad display??Leave a comment:
