So just to double check, are there any connections to check on the tab drivers if I were to open the TV up? Shipping the TV most-likely caused whatever damage that has appeared unfortunately....

I have a Sony KDL-40S2010 with vertical lines on part of the screen. The TV was packaged and shipped with a lot of padding and when we opened the packaging and turned it on it looked like this (see attached pics). Maybe something was damaged or came loose during shipping. I have been reading about bad T-Con boards and wanted some advice before buying a replacement. Most of the T-Con symptoms I've been reading about affect either the entire screen...

First post. I've been lurking for quite a while on badcaps. I was able to fix a couple of samsung monitors from the information I found here. Recently my TV broke and I need to seek advice on how to fix it. I hope the community can help me out!
